Hard boiled eggs
How long do you cook them for? For whatever reason, there's always something wrong with mine. Either the egg shell is dam near impossible to get off or they don't seem cooked enough, etc.

Re: Hard boiled eggs
I put the eggs in first, then fill with water until just covered. I turn the heat onto high and then once the water begins to boil, I cook them for 10 minutes.
When they're finished, run them under cold water - that stops the insides from turning that nasty grayish color.
Also, when you're peeling, I like to just put the egg down and roll it under my palm on a paper towel - then make sure you get the albumen (the little membrane under the shell) because if you can peel that... the whole shell comes with it.

That's what I've been doing. I read someone else's post on making a hard boiled egg and probably followed your instructions. Egg came out perfect and easy to take off the shell

Re: Hard boiled eggs
It also helps if the eggs are a little old. We hardboil a ton of eggs in my house. The older the egg is when you hardboil it, the easier it will be to peel.
