IUI help
I am wondering what everyone's IUI schedule ha been like. I am feeling like maybe I am going too early for it? For the past two months, I got my smiley late Friday and went in for the IUI Saturday monring- including today. I was thinking maybe my dr should have had me wait a day? I don't know- just looking for some answers. Thanks!

Are you doing Clomid or injectables? I've only done injectables and am on my 3rd cycle of IUI. Here is my schedule for the 1st IUI I had done.
I started Gonal-f on CD 3/4.
B/w and sono cd 8
b/w sono CD 10 and started ganirelix
b/w and sono CD 13
Ovidrel trigger @ midnight.
IUI CD 15 in the morning.

i got preg the day I got my smiley on my 3rd IUI.
My 1st & 2nd IUI (which failed) I called the day i got smiley (day 13) and went next day (day 14) For some reason i had a gut feeling i was too late so I fibbed to my doc saying I got a smiley on day 12 and got IUI on day 13 (the day I actually got smiley) and then went for 2nd IUI day 14 b/c sono showed on day 13 egg didnt drop yet.
do u understand or did i confuse u like crazy?
at my office we call the day u get smiley and he does IUI next day. I felt i needed back to back IUI's day i get smiley and day after................ I was right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have a beautiful 3 1/2 month old...... and i took no drugs like clomid.....and prior to IUI, we tried like 4 years....
how many IUI's did u get?
after u get IUI does doc see egg already released?

i have only done one cycle so far and my normal cycles are ovulating around day 18 and my period around day 32
with my iui cycle it was
iui done on day 10 and 11 and i got my period on day 21
remember if you are taking clomid or injectibles they are stimulating your ovulation so you might ovulate sooner than you normally do

Thanks for your responses. I have only been doing IUI without anything else. For the past 2 cycles, I got my smiley on day 14 and went in for IUI on day 15. I am going to my regular OB, this is my last attempt before going to a RE, so there have been no sonos. I wonder if I should have talked to him about doing back to back IUIs but he never mentioned it. Also, since it is the regular office they are not even open on Sundays, and of course my last two months smileys were on Friday and I went in on Saturday. Do you think I should try for Monday too? Or is it a waste and over at this point?
