How do you deal?
How do you deal with close friends and family that get pregnant?
One of my close friends just told me last night that she is pregnant. I sobbed for at least an hour before bed. Of course I put on a brave face for her but sometimes it's so hard. She only told me about 2 months ago that she was trying. And here I am on month 9. I hate feeling sorry for myself but I don't know how else to deal.

Hmm.. I wish there was an easy answer - but you just do.
You remember that there aren't a limited number of people who can be pregnant.. so just because she got there first, doesn't mean she's "taking your spot" - KWIM?
You try to be happy... you put on a smile. That's all you can do! And you hope that she is sensitive to your feelings.

Re: How do you deal?
I put on a smile to them and usually cry behind closed doors (depending on who it is). It's defintiely emotional.
I found out that someone who is know is pregnant. She never wanted kids and has a beautiful 7-year old daughter who she never sees. It's really frustrating.
As silly as it sounds, sometimes it's okay to ave a pity party!

ITA with everyone. You put on a happy face and be supportive and cry behind closed doors and try to remember that you will have your time as well. It is hard and frustrating and there really is no good answer about dealing.

Re: How do you deal?
This has happened a lot to me since we started trying - and I mean A LOT. Basically every married person I know is pregnant right now. With each announcement, my heart breaks a little bit more, but I do smile for my friends and I do genuinely feel happy for them - I just also feel sorry for myself and I think that's just natural when something that's been so hard for you seems to be so easy for everyone else. Don't beat yourself up - you're not alone here.
