Good/Great Butcher??
My mom's LONG time (talking 30 years here) butcher has closed up shop abruptly....
She's in Lindenhurst and is looking for a good place to go....does anyone have good suggestions?
She works in Wantagh - so i'm sure that would be okay too!
thanks girls!!!

Re: Good/Great Butcher??
I have not been yet, but on Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst on the south side of the road is a butcher with a maroon awning. My brother who loves to cook goes there and told me about it when we moved here. I'm sorry I don't remember the name.
ETA It's a free standing brick building set back in a parking lot. Something like John Anthonys or Roberts, a mans name. Sorry this is really so vague.

I think there's an Iavarone Brothers in Wantagh. The butcher shop in the Lake Success one is always good.
