I think the difference is that you were making yours anyway. If you didn't, would he make his own? Or offer to make yours?
The fact that there are some men that would starve if their wives did not make them lunch is what disturbs me.

We make our own lunches, he's very picky when it comes to making it.... 3 napkins, 2 cookies, you have to put the sandwich in two bags so it doens't fall out.... HE'S NUTS!!!
Needless to say, I wouldn't dream of touching his lunch.

The fact that there are some men that would starve if their wives did not make them lunch is what disturbs me.
The fact is I would probably starve half the time if my DH didn't make my lunch the other 1/2 I'd just grab a yogurt.

That's actually the real resaon we don't make each other's lunch! He has to peel & slice apples in advance & toast his bread & I only like a certain amount of jelly on my sandwhich. . .

Neither of us likes anything that can be made at home. We don't like cold cuts (obvious for me I'ma vegetarian)...sometimes we each bring lunch, but it's very rare, and we mostly make our own...this is true even when we're staying in the same house

Then it would probebly disturb you too that if not for my husband...the grass would be 3 feet high & the garbage so piled up - you'd swear NY was having a strike! I am yet to do some of "his" chores,never will!
My Co pays for all my meals.
I make DH lunch every morning,along with our sons. Its usually a sandwich or leftovers. I also get his coffee ready & make sure he has breakfast to take along.
On Fridays & Saturdays he's off.. he gets up with me,makes MY coffee,breakfast & even gets my vitamins out.
Scratch my back..I'll scratch yours

i don't see anything wrong with a wife making her dh lunch, or visa versa. (or NOT making his/her lunch)... it's whatever suits/works that particular couple.

DH usually makes lunch for the both of us when he has to work the next day. He'll even make my lunch for me when he doesn't have to work the next day. Lots of times we do it together to make it go faster.
When he's out playing a gig, I'll make lunches for us.

I mean, when it comes down to it, I really do not mind making him lunch because I am making mine, as well, and I don't make it for him when he works on the weekends. However, it is the fact that he complains when he gets home from work if I don't make his lunch that day. I mean, be grateful for whatcha got, ya know?

usually do make his lunch...I don't mind. He works on the road so if he doesn't brown bag it, he grabs a bite at the end of his day since he's starving by that point and then comes home and spoiled his dinner

I make us both lunch the night before. I usually wll make some tuna, egg salad, or something leftover and pack his lunch bag in the morning.
Not only does it not make food go to waste, it saves alot of money.

I make both of our lunches. Its not a big deal for me to make one extra sandwich. If lunches in the city werent so expensive we would probably buy everyday.
