oh the mystery of it all UPDATE

So I had my shots class Friday and I thought what the H why not test just to see if maybe BFP and the class is unnecessary. So I tested 9 DPO not with FMU and got a faint nothing line which looked like an evap and took awhile to show up. So I went to the class.

Later that night I got curious and tested again with a target test and got the slightest faintest line imaginable. I can only describe it as a fantom line, like really straining to see it, not visible on camera barely visible to the naked eye. But it def had color so I didn't think it was evap and my DH could also see it. I thought oh boy a line is a line and started to get excited. But it was still 9 DPO so I said I won't believe until its more visible and a digital said I was prego.

Waited until 11 DPO and tested with FMU this time. The same kind of line showed up, not any darker.
So than I was out of tests and all that was left was my lone digital that I was saving for when I saw a line. I couldn't take it. I tested with it thinking that if I was it would pick it up. Now this was middle of the afternoon and my pee was very light and I def hadn't held it. It came up not prego.

So now AF is due Wed/Thurs and I won't test again until thurs. What do you think? Should I trust the middle of the day digital result or the 2 fantom lines? Right now I don't trust any of them, I'm feeling like it is a no since the line hadn't gotten darker in 2 days.

Oh and virtually no symptoms except tender boobs but that is prob AF

UGH!

UPDATE:
Tested with FRER this morn and BFN, started to see spotting. Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: oh the mystery of it all

Hmmm..i would wait to test again.

if you started to see a faint line it may be something.

Last week i had tested Monday which was 10DPO, and 13 days past my IUI (which wasnt timed so well, or so i thought) and I got a BFN.

Wed i was feeling dizzy and weird all day and tested that nite before i jumped in the shower. and i got a faint line on an early-pregnancy.com test (some freebies they sent me). I took a digital and that was positive. I took a test thursday morning wiht a different brand, and postive. I've continued to pee on sticks like every day since...LOL

So something maybe starting but just not early enough to detect the hormone yet.

You're always best waiting until the day of or after AF is due. it says you can test up to 5 days before, but they're not nearly as accurate that early.

this was probably the most long winded answer ever.

When you tested a few days apart with the line tests... were you using the same brand/box of tests?

I wouldn't trust the digital yet - you're still very early and those are less sensitive.

I'd go out and get an FRER and test with that tomorrow with FMU.

Yes both target from the same box. The digi was clearblue easy and I looked it up online and it says it has the same sensitivity at target- 25.

Ok I'll try FRER, I guess it can't hurt trying tomorrow.

Why do they tease me!

Re: oh the mystery of it all

Yes I did do a trigger but I would think its gone 12 days after the shot, but maybe no. Last cycle I had a negative 9DPO with trigger. We'll see.

The HCG trigger should be out of your system. I would test tomorrow morning again.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: oh the mystery of it all UPDATE

oh..im sorry. maybe test in a few more days. like i said i tested at like 11 DPO and got a negative. 13 DPO i got a positive. So you never know!

spotting can mean anything really. i spotted for 4 days. i thought for sure AF was coming.

but also..werent you not getting periods..so if AF is coming, then maybe the meds are working to regulate you.
