How early is too early
to test?? Just curious? Do the early response tests really work?? If so, what's the earliest you can take them?

Re: How early is too early
From what I have seen, First Response is the one most girls recommend. I have seen some BFP's from 11DPO, but I think the earliest recommened to test is 13DPO

Re: How early is too early
The earliest the tests say they work is 5 days before a missed period-but if you look at the stats, they are only 53% accurate. I wouldn't test personally unless you are maybe a day before AF is due or the day of. This way you avoid the heartbreak of BFNs and these tests can get expensive. However, if you don't mind getting a BFN, you could test 5 days before. I wouldn't test before 12DPO at the earliest and that is still early. It really depends on the length of your LP. HTH
I know there is a website that tells you how sensitive the tests are-how much HcG they can detect. FRER is pretty good-if you are going to test early, I would test with a test like that which can detect smaller amounts of HcG.
