Why is it that.....
Why is it that everytime I call my RE's office to ask the nurses a question I can never get a straight answer?!?!?! I asked them about the whole ewcm thing after my IUI and all I got was "uh well uh...." EVERYTIME I call that place!!!
Sorry for the vent.

B/C they don't know a fraction of the things we do about TTC, fertility and our bodies!!!!! They only know what they are told.....or read in a text book!!

Oh and not to be gross, but I find when we BD after the IUI (with preseed), the "remnants" are very similar to EWCM....so, if you did that then that maybe what you're seeing...

I dunno if this was said already somewhere else, but the IUI could've loosened stuff up and made it come out. It doesn't mean you ovulated late. If you did the HCG injection- that's when you ovulated.

Now that you say that - it sounds familiar Its just that why didnt the nurse just say it - you know what I mean? Rather than acting like she had no idea what I was talking about. I know I'm just a worry wart but this is all really starting to add up financially so I just want it to work already

It is frustrating when they're not helpful - I've called a few times for random things and I think they think I'm nuts, but its our bodies and if we have questions that's fine! Good luck to you!!

i pretty much had it out with the RE office this morning bc they tried to pacify me instead of giving me answers to my questions..  But after i got REALLY PO'ed i got the nurse practitioner on the phone and she answered all my questions LOL

Because a lot of IF treatments are trial and error and each person responds differently each cycle. They certainly don't have all the answers and even when they do they don't always share in case they are wrong.
