Re: Before TTC...
My best tip for those that haven't started TTC yet but plan to start is to go to the dentist!!! Make sure your teeth and gums are healthy so you don't have to worry about it while TTC.
Also, I wish I would've charted more carefully and been more aware of cervical mucous throughout my cycle. If you haven't started charting your cycles make sure you start now! It's always good to know

I had an infected tooth and needed to get it pulled. I was in the 2ww and was scared of getting X-rays. I had to wait and make sure I wasn't pregnant before I could get it pulled so that I could take meds.
Your gum health is VERY important during pregnancy! I would just go now, make sure everything is okay and then you don't have to worry about it at all or even during the 2ww's. KWIM?

It's always good to know I never thought about the whole dentist thing! I'm assuming you cannot get novacaine, that's why right?

The dentist part is very true. But all in all, you want to do a whole body check up. You and your DH should go get physicals (a full work up) and you should have a visit with your Gyno, they will give you the best advice usually. Good Luck.
