Will an HCG shot help this month?

So last month i barely got AF and when the blood test showed i was not pregnant the Dr. said i produced eggs and began to ovulate but all the eggs did not come down and that why i didnt really bleed. So this month on day CD14 which is when i usually ovulate they gave me an HCG shot and they said all it does is make sure the follicles make it down for a chance to be fertilized. Has anyone ever done it? Has anyone ever heard good stories of it helping. im on CD 16 and just praying. I just really really want a baby and its getting harder and harder especially since if i had not had my miscarriage i would have a 14 month old right now.

I was put on 50mg of clomid and had a trigger shot, I got pregnant that month

Is this a medicated cycle?

If not, it's normal to only produce 1 egg...

well last month they said that it looked like i had two follicles when i didnt really get AF.

This month when i went in on Day 14 they said again like i had 2 follicles and my only medicine was the HCG shot they gave me that day to bring them down?

is this good? will this help?

Hmm I'm not really sure!

I guess it will help you to ovulate those eggs - but I'm thinking if you had 2 follies that it will increase your chances for multiples (but this is of course just my GUESS... )

I would be happy to be pregnant with one, 2, 3 as long as they are healthy. I just hopes this helps and was curious if anyone ever tried it or heard of it?
