hcg doubling?

Does anyone know how long your hcg doubles for? About when is it normal for it to just rise, but not double?

I had a beta that went from 9000 to 13,300 over two days and I am worried. I thought it had to double?

it does not have to double. In the beginning they are looking for it to at least rise 60%. How many weeks are you?

I'll be six weeks on Saturday. It didn't even go up 60% though.....the only thing I can think of is that the first blood draw was at 3 PM Monday and the second was 8 AM Weds, so it wasn't even 48 hours.

I am trying to stay calm but I have a history of m/c, so I am totally freaked out.

by 6 weeks it usually slows down. My RE was only concerned about my beta rising my first week of betas. I had my first beta at 4 weeks pregnant. By 6 weeks, they weren't looking for that same rise anymore. Sounds like you're fine.

is it weird i only had blood tested once at 4 weeks, i know i have blood work next week at 12 is that normal.
