Please help....again

Long story short: came off of bc last month for the first time in 8 years. Before i went on it they had to give me Provera to jump start AF...my cycles were irregular. There is a possibility i have PCOS. Af was due yesterday...no sign of her no symptoms. Took a pregnancy test and it was a BFN. I first apparently took an ovulation test (Clear blue easy) not realizing it was on ovulation test saw two lines (one really faint) and did one of these What do u want it was 530 thismorning. Then went to grab another and saw that it was ovualation sticks not pregnancy. Then took a real test and it was negative. So i am not pregnant nor am i getting ready to ovulate. When should i call my gyn? Could my cycle be longer? Should i wait a few days to see if i get AF or should i call and get Provera again? Thanks ladies.

when i first went off BCP--my cycles got longer each month....i think i would wait up to 1 week past the time your last cycle ended. i wouldn't be surprised if its just your body adjusting.

This is my first cycle off BCP as well, i was on for almost 10 years, so i cant remember what cycles were like before hand.

i can tell you this though - im currently on CD 40 , no AF, and a BFN.

Not sure when i should contact dr..or if i should just wait it out.

Ive heard that it can take a long time to get BCP out of system and to try and be patient until your body adjusts.

IT IS FRUSTRATING THOUGH!!!!

I have PCOS and just so you know PCOS throws your hormones and body completely out of whack.....it mimics ovulation..it was a long time before I found that out myself!

your AF should come 1-10 days after the last provera pill. i went have been using provera for a few months & i get it the 1st or 2nd day after finishing the pills. i think you need to give it a few more days before going back to dr. just Relax and let the meds work..
A few days after your AF stops you should start OPK's to see when you ovulate. since you havent had your AF in a looong time you should start OPK CD7-9 you will probably need 2 boxes but then you will get an idea of when you ovulate & can start opks later the next month if needed.

Im not on meds yet...i was 8 years ago. I am only one day late so 29 days in.
