Sinus headaches
I hardly ever got headaches before I was pregnant. Now, I am getting them several times a week and I think they are sinus headaches because the pain is in the front of my forehead and my nose feels somewhat congested. Any tips for getting rid of these? I don't want to take medicine of any kind unless I have to (including Tylenol).
TIA!

Re: Sinus headaches
I have used the sinus rinse or the netipot for sinus headaches and it clears out your nasal passages. You can take regular strength Tylenol too if needed.

Re: Sinus headaches
Yes I can definitely help! Before my sinus surgery I used to have them all the time so I learned different things to do to help without all the meds.
You can try a netti pot to clean them out. But I would try the below first.
I first try -
Warm shower and steaming to open up your sinuses. Drink a lot of fluids (warm helps best) to help keep the mucus thin which will help it to drain. Eat spicy foods - this help you to drain - if of course you can stomach them.

Re: Sinus headaches
Tylenol, sudafed, saline spray, humidifier, steam showers, caffeine drinks, rest. I had lots of sinus headaches up to around 20 weeks.
