What now!?!?

Okay, I'm 14 weeks tomorrow, out of the first tri, had my sono. What now?!?! LOL! I'm bored!

Seriously how do you make it between the time of your sono and when you can start to feel something. I've had a previous mc, so I'm beginning to drive myself kind of nuts worrying! My next midwife appointment is in 3 weeks and hopefully I'll get to hear the heartbeat then.

BTDT ladies, what did you do at this point?

Re: What now!?!?

the days will pass VERY slowly...the worry will NOT stop...

20 weeks today and STILL not feeling anything. No massively horrible symptoms to make me feel MORE pregnant...so i HEAR YOU LOUD & CLEAR!!!!!

I practically celebrate every time something happens...stabbing pain in the boob - WOO HOO!!!!!! Cramp? YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a long wait until that 20 week sono...i'm so sorry!

Re: What now!?!?

It gets really "slow" around that time....once you start to feel movement it makes( at least to me) the pregnancy feel alot more real.....
Have you read any books? Started to take a look at products you would liike to register for? Another lifesaver for me was baby bargains.....the registering is a task in itself so get prepared for that....it sounds easy but there are literlly tons of each product..and you want the best based on looks and performance..hth!!!!

Re: What now!?!?

I was lucky and had a 16 week sono with the second half of my AFP test. And then I had my 20 week sono at 20W3D. Now I don't get another one until 32 weeks!
Hang in there. Chat Icon

Re: What now!?!?

I feel your pain..I was JUST thinking the same thing. I had a sono at 11w and heard the heartbeat last week...but now I have to wait another 4weeks before my level II sono. I feel good and am not feeling any movement so I am freaking out and the days are going so slow!!!
I am hoping I feel some movement soon and in the meantime, I am trying to focus on figuring out this registry stuff to pass the time....

Re: What now!?!?

You read my mind, I am sitting here freaking wishing I could just go in! I went for my 8 week sono and we saw the heartbeat but he doesn't listen for it until the next appointment which is February 12th and it is killing me to wait that long! I have no m/s the nausea comes and goes nothing too crazy and other than that I feel fine! Except for the fact that my boobs are growing at a rate I can't keep up with. I feel like I should be feeling something more...I guess we just have to hang in there and just keep the positive thoughts going...

Re: What now!?!?

Glad I'm not alone!

We told this one couple that we were expecting around 11 weeks. The girl told me Oh, wait until after your sono - the time between your 12 week sono and when you start to feel any movement completely drags and the waiting is endless! At the time I thought, she can't be serious, nothing can be as bad as waiting for my 12 week sono! Oh, boy, was I wrong! Chat Icon

I've never had a m/c so I can't begin to understand how you feel. But take it one day at a time! Chat Icon

What I felt was first trimester went by sloooowly, second trimester flew by because I felt great, and now the third trimester is just miserable, I am counting the minutes here in my last couple of weeks.

I guess one perk of the GD is that after the 20 week u/s - i'll have growth sonos every 4 weeks...so i will get to see the baby regularly...i guess that's karma's way of saying - sorry you have to STICK yourself 4 times a day and probably go on insulin later...but here - SEE THE BABY...and honestly, at this point - I'LL TAKE IT!!!

Try to relax and enjoy the 2nd tri. I know easier said than done, but trust me....the 2nd tri is the best...Chat Icon
