DH goes with me to about 90% of them. Since I'm having twins, I get an ultrasound at every appointment. I'm seeing a regular OB and a perinatologist due to my "high-risk" status, so DH accompanies me to most (especially since I am on bedrest and he doesn't want me driving)

DH comes to all of the sonos and long appts, but I do the 5-min quick check ups alone. The 5-min ones are boring!

DH usually comes.. even the 5 minute ones that are boring.. he loves to hear the heartbeat and see what the dr has to say.. that being said.. he didnt come to the 1 hr or 3 hr glucose... (That would have been torture) and he is usually out of work in time, now that they are every 2 weeks... my mom is going to come to some...

He is coming with me to our 1st app and they are doing a sono. I should be about 6wks then.

He came to about 3 but that is it. Usually he is stays home and watches DS when I go.
They do the same thing every time so for me it was silly for him to go to them.

My dh came with me to the appt's with sono's and the first intial dr. visit. The regular dr. visits I have done by myself.
By the way I live in Maspeth too

My DH has gone to every OB appt, even though they're just about always 5 minutes long. He loves to hear the heartbeat. However, we take the first appt of the day which means he can still get to work on time. Now that I'm having weekly sonos, he can't always make them because they're mid-day, in which case he's replaced by my mother and mother-in-law

He comes to every appt. - He wouldn't miss a sono appt for anything ..... -
A lot of people bring their parents, siblings, friends, etc - but IMO it's something for DH and I experience together - I wouldn't bring anyone else

I do the regular OB appointments by myself. I prefer that actually. I can focus on my own questions and feelings better.
DH came to one regular appointment to meet my dr., ask a few questions. He came to the level 2. I had to do a repeat level 2 for certain areas and he couldn't make it, so I brought my mom.
That's about it. Scheduling appointments around my job is hard enough, I can't be bothered to figure out DH's for such quick appointments.

Nope. He came to all of my sonos & he came to one regular appointment so he could hear the heartbeat on the doppler. I'm 30 weeks now and I doubt he'll be coming to any more of my appointments. If I'm able to schedule an appointment while he's not working, it's a nice break for me because it means I don't have to bring DD. If he comes with me, my appointment becomes a family affair.

Dh comes to all of the appointments so far. He has off on mondays so I always schedule them for his day off so he can come with me.

I have only had one appointment so far which he did come with me. he wants to come to every one even though I told him it was not necessary for him to leave work early so we will see what happens

DH and my 2 other children come for the sono appts- not the weigh in/BP check ones. They are really no fun and i dont see a need for them to be there.

My DH comes to them all, even the ones where it's just taking my weight and listening to the heartbeat! he loves hearing the heartbeat just as much as I do, and he loves the fact that now he has a relationship with my doctors.
same here... DH has been coming to them all and it's totally his choice. He likes talking to the Doc and he'll sit there even if it's a blood test or nothing big, but he gets to hear the heart beat
