I have a friend who recently named her DD Violet but I don't think it's popular. I think it's such a beautiful name....I love flower names.

We really like Violet lately also! I don't know if we'd definitely go with it, but I think it's cute and classic at the same time.I agree that it does make me think a little of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, but I am sure that will pass as they eventually fade into obscurity :) I think it's not totally rare, but also not so common that every little girl has it.

i dont think its popular, and i loveeee that name. i love naming little girls after flowers, if we have a girl her name is going to be Lilly.

I don't think it's a popular name. IT's actually DH's grandmother's name. We love her so much that if we are blessed with a girl it will be her middle name. That was my decision not DH's if it matters. It's a very pretty name!
