FINALLY having my back surgery!!!!
After 8 months of excruciating sciatica, a hellish pregnancy, tons of painkillers and more tears than I can possibly recall, I am finally scheduled to have my back surgery THIS FRIDAY!
I never thought I'd ever be EXCITED about having to have surgery, but I am ready to get my life back and not be at the mercy of this pain anymore. I literally don't remember what it feels like NOT to be in pain--I am much looking forward to experiencing that again.
Wish me luck--it's a little nerve-wracking (no pun intended  ) to be having surgery on my spine, but I have all the confidence in the world in my neurosurgeon--who by the way is the neurosurgeon for the Carolina Panthers 
See you guys on the flip side--I can't wait to feel better!!!

OMG Beth I don't know whether to say "Get well soon" or "Congratulations" so I'll say BOTH!
You were such a trooper, this day has been a long time coming!!!
As I mentioned previously I had the same surgery a few years back and I swear to this day its a MIRACLE, i've had NOOOOOO pain or sciatica since then, it's perfect!!!! Best of luck to you, if it goes like mine did you'll be SKIPPING out of the hospital

YAY!!!! I recall all of the excrutiating pain you were going through.... Finally, the time has come Lots of  for a speedy and pain-free recovery...
(and I'm so glad your little one is now here... if DC only knew what you went through.... what a sign of true love by a mommy  )

Whoops, forgot to include that! My surgeon is booked solid for the next 2 months, but he happened to have a last-minute cancellation THIS FRIDAY!!!
