If AF comes, (not just spotting, but full blown AF), does that confirm that I O'd this month??

no I dont think so. I think some people dont O and still get AF.

there is a some sort of phenonmenon called "anovulatory cycles" so it is possible to get AF and not have ovulated.
it happens...

No-you can have an anovulatory cycle (where you do not O) and get your period.
Now this leads me to something I wonder-does BCP stop you from Oing?

Unfortunately, no.
You can have an anovulatory month, which is totally normal to have every so often (maybe 1x/year or so).

Yes..i believe the whole point of BCP is to prevent ovulation..like the hormones trick your body into thinking you're pregnant so an egg doesnt release..then when you're on the dummy pills/no hormones you get AF..more like a fake AF..
I could be wrong, but thats how i understood it to be.
the rare thing is not being on BC and having a cycle where you dont ovulate, yet still get a period.

Yeah - BCP stops you from ovulating.
It also changes your CM that makes it harder for swimmies to get through. It may also change your uterine lining to make implantation harder if not impossible.

You can not O and not be on BCP and still get AF.
