Updated with new info. WWYD?
These are the options for us at this point. The dogs would be the big issue as far as price of boarding, but I love the kennel we use.
So now my question is this, These are the three cruises we narrowed it down to:
Royal Carribean Bermuda June - 2400.00 + 500.00 for dogs
Carnival.
8 nite June - 2800 + 800 for dogs 8 nite Sep - 1900 + 800 for dogs (or) 5 nite June -1460 + 600 (approx) for air + 700 for dogs.
We are willing to take a cruise in Sept. even though it hurrican season, we decided there is no issue with that.

I would do Royal Carribean in June. The price is pretty much the same as if you cruised in September with a much higher likilihood of good weather.

I personally think Bermuda is boring so I would never go on a cruise there.
And I hate going to warm places when it is really warm here. Weird I know
I would pick the Carnival in Sept.
I am a Huge fan of Carnival now ever since our last cruise with them.

I would go with RCCL they IMO a better line than carnival. Bermuda isn't like the rest of the caribbean in that it gets colder quicker. I know you aren't worried about the hurricanes but remember you have to sail down the coast and you could end up in Canada rather than Bermuda if the weather is bad - that often happens in Sept and higher hurricane season times.

I agree. Plus when I was looking at cruises, I thought RC looked much nicer than Carnival. (jmo.)
ETA: I've also heard that Bermuda is gorgeous, yet expensive, so cruising there is a great option since your food is already paid for.
