How often

do you feel the baby kick? I'm 25 weeks and am probably just being paranoid but I feel like I haven't felt it a lot in the past 2 days and I'm starting to freak out a little.

I had days like that, don't worry. I usually feel the baby at least every hour or so. The baby movements are usually very strong at night and in the morning. Sometimes the baby is moving and you are just busy and don't notice it.

Drink some OJ and go lay on your side in a quiet room. You should feel some movement then.

You know I am exactly at the same point in my pregnancy and I was wondering the same thing last week when I wasn't feeling a lot of movement every day. The past few days I have been feeling more consistent movement at different times throughout the day. I think it is pretty normal to have variations at this point but I am going to bring it up to my OB on Thursday. I also count kicks when she is active to make sure I get 10 in less than 2 hours. So far she is passing that test. I will probably start a kick count chart in 2 weeks. HTH!

ETA: I also cheat and use my doppler if I think too much time has passed without feeling a kick just to check in on things.

Thanks ladies, I laid down and felt it a few times. I'm glad I'm not alone. I guess I just wish I would start feeling it consistently!

I felt the same way.....I really started to feel the baby all day at about 29wks....I was having busy days and quiet days, now everyday is a busy day!
