3 week cycle??

This is my first AF off of BC... and my cycle was a whopping 21 days long!! I was expecting to come off and deal with long cycles... anyone know why it would be so short?

I wouldn't think too much of it since it is your first cycle off bcp. If next month and the month after are the same I would be worried that you might have a short luteal phase which could make it difficult to get pregnant. But really, right after BCP, your body is probably just regulating and I wouldn't worry to much about it....

my first cycle coming off of bcp was only 23 days. the next month it was 25 and then 26. i find that my body is slowly adjusting itself to be back to "normal". like the PP said, wait and see what your cycles like next month.

I wouldn't worry too much Rachel-your body will probably need some time to regulate from the BCP.

I wouldnt worry about it either. In my opinion - i rather a short cycle than a long cycle! (in my first month off BCP too, and still waiting for AF)

Wait till your body regulates to get more of an understanding of whats going on. I just read that girls with shorter cycles may tend to be more fertile than longer cycles . for you
