well i can't speak for anyone else--BUT i know that i have seriously irregular cycles--and it is one of the common signs of it.
for example my last 5 cycles...
36 days 31 days 18 days 29 days 25 days

I agree with this too. My cycles (my whole life) have been anywhere from 35 days apart to (a few times) 4-5 months apart. And once even 8 months apart! Thats a scary thing for a teenager lol

Yup yup my whole life they have been irregular
I used to go two months without a period then a month with it then god knows when it came....

This is a good website to find out about PCOS.
They list these as the symptoms:
Infrequent menstrual period and/or irregular bleeding Infertility because of not ovulating Increased growth of hair on face/body Acne, oily skin, or dandruff Pelvic pain Weight gain or obesity Type 2 diabetes High cholesterol High blood pressure Male-pattern baldness or thinning hair Darkened skin on neck, arms, breasts, or thighs Skin tags Sleep apnea

when i was a teenager i had about 65 days between periods at then one time i had my period for 46 days STRAIGHT!!!
i was convinced i was dying.

thanks for the site i kept fininding the same info on all the ones i looked at ... im looking for a friend but now reading the symptoms im driving myself crazy

omg i hear ya!!
when i was a teenager i had about 65 days between periods at then one time i had my period for 46 days STRAIGHT!!!
i was convinced i was dying. 
During my 8month span I got stomach sick and woke up throwing up one morning. That was a nightmare b/c my mom was convinced I was pregnant. That was a fight and a half. Turns out it was a stomach virus. She felt silly after that one
