Can we take Sudafed?

I recall that my doc at one point said this was ok--- It's Sat night and I can't call.

I feel like I have a wool sweater stuffed into my face, and I would like some relief.

My doc said no- he said he doens't like how it gives many people heart palpatations, and to imagine what it might be doing to the babys heart. But then I've read that its okay in books and stuff. I'd call your doc or pharamacist and ask

hmmmm... maybe I will just take some benadryl, I know for sure they OK'd that. I just hope it works to clear my sinuses. Saline spray and hot towels aren't helping... So, this along with some heartburn/acid reflux I am like Chat Icon today.

thanks-- I don't really have the symptoms it treats, but hopefully it will give me some relief. Better to be safe than sorry-- although I think it would probably be ok at this stage in the pregnancy.

My dr's office gave a list of ok meds if you need to take them, Sudafed regular strength was on the list as okay to take.

Re: Can we take Sudafed?

When I called my OB office, they told me either robitussin without any letters (the same one some use for ewcm while ttc) or reg sudafed. I hate how sudafed makes me feel, so I tried robitussin. Feel better
