Sudafed n nursing
Is it safe to assume that since you can take it while pregnant you can take it while nursing. I feel myself coming down with one heck of a head cold.

I've taken it while BF. I got the ok when I was pg so I never bothered to ask while I was nursing. She didn't seem effected by it in any way.

Sudafed can significantly reduce your milk supply, so it would be better to avoid it...

So then the Sudafed they sell in the aisles should be ok because it contains phenylephrine. You have to go the pharmacy counter and specifically ask for the Sudafed with pseudoephedrine in it nowadays.
