dollar tree goers & guaifenesin
I was in dollar tree & they had 400mg Assured Mucus relief tablets. Do you think its safe to take?
Im on clomid so i go through two bottles of cough syrup a month at $8 a bottle it adds up between that & opk's...
Honest opinions welcome as i haven't taken them yet and will not be offended.

So long as the only active ingredient listed is guaifenesin then it should be fine but I would recommend cutting the dose in half...you should take no more than 200mg per dose.

well let me ask you this..i just bought mucinex and its 600 mg tablets but it says to take 1-2 pills every 12 hours. so do you think its okay or should i return it and get a lesser mg count?

really? I thought for some reason my Mucinex had more mg. in it then that. I have to check but I'm too lazy right now!

I had the same problem when I was first lokoing for mucinex..everything was 600mg so I passed and just grabbed the plain robitussin. I noticed that the children's mucinex was lower but I already have the robitussin.
In my limited experience and knowledge...I'd say go with the lower does. I mean...we can't take it once we ovulate so to me I take that as a warning to be careful with it and stick with 200mg per dose.

well i was reading online and it also says not to do more than 200mg a dose. but robitussin is 3-4 times daily at 200mg doses each and mucinex is 1 dose at 600mg every 12 hours. so looking at it that way, its the same thing, no?
