If I wanted a regular black belt to wear like with slacks or jeans, I'd probably head over to Banana Repulic or Ann Taylor Loft.
I did get this wide belt to wear over blouses or dresses at NY and Company recently. Love it!

id buy this belt
i have a brown waist-belt and i wear it more than i want to admit
it looks great over bulky sweaters, loose bouses- skirts- you name it, it goes with everything

i'm not a huge fan of belts... i dont think they looks right on me... i would LOVE to be able to pull off the waist belt posted above me, but i dont think it would look right on me

I got mine at Banana Republic. It's classic, not quite this one, but very similar. Plus it is curved (like we are) not straight so it actually lays right on the waist.
