A question about CM - a bit TMI

Despite my avatar pic, I am clueless about this whole CM thing.

According to an ovulation calendar, I should O Xmas eve, but I can be fertile from today (Dec 21) until Dec 26

We are actually trying this month (we had sex the last 2 nights just for fun, though - hopefully it won't dilute the boys!!! )

This morning, I checked CM by sticking my fingers way up there. First of all - ouch But it looks and feels watery on my fingers... what does that mean?

It doesn't look stretchy like everyone says. Will it progressively go from this watery discharge to more slippery as I get closer to O?

I checked this AM after going to the bathroom like you are supposed to.... Does it change daily, or can it change from morning to evening?

There's really no set answer as to when it can change. If you're recording your CM, you'll want to record the most fertile CM.

Watery is fertile, but EWCM is the most fertile kind. It literally looks like egg whites.
