amniotic fluid vs discharge
How do you tell the differance. Just asking cuz i feel like i am constantly damp down there. Now i cant tell if its from wearing cotton pjs and being under warm blankets or if something is going on. Home alone and cant exactly venture to L&D. No cramping no bleeding and im 32w1d

If the discharge is green or brownish, make sure to call the dr. right away though! If it helps any, I am always damp down there and constantly wondering if I have sprung a leak.

I would call to make sure. If they ask you to go in, they will swab you and you will get results right away.
I thought you were cramping yesterday? If that is the case, I would definitely call.

Definitely call. I was sent to the hospital and they did a swab test that came back negative, but the sonogram showed very low fluid, which needed to be monitored. You are always better safe than sorry.

I have been told if it is fluid, then it will soak through a pad and underwear - it will be a constant flow, even if it is just a trickle.

I'd call, they might have you come into the office. I had a swab at 36w when I was having contractions....swab came back weakly positive, so they did another "microscope test" which is more reliable which came back negative. Better safe than sorry!
