Breakfast
What does everyone eat for breakfast?? BC i have been feeling so nauseous in the morning and need to eat carbs, I have been having a hot chocolate and roll with butter EVERY am and I seemed to put on a lot of weight this first trimester
So I need some more smart breakfast ideas (BC i dont want to keep going at this rate and I have the biggest feeling that my high fat and high calorie breakfast is a BIG culprit of the weight i gained this trimester!)
Need help ladies.......

Re: Breakfast
I think a hard boiled egg holds me over nicely. I still need a midmorning snack though. And oatmeal with some fruit is nice. Cereal just doesn't cut it for me anymore.

Re: Breakfast
I've found that, as much as I crave the carbs, I end up feeling sick again 20 minutes later. What really does the trick for me, to keep the nauseau at bay, is to eat protein - so I'll make a little egg sandwhich with an english muffin and american cheese, or eat yogurt, or cheese...

Re: Breakfast
I tend to lean more towards the carbs too. My breakfasts are usually one of any of the following: bagel, muffin, egg sandwich, whole wheat pancakes, waffles or cereal. I guess I am no help.....and I have been gaining a lot of weight too.

Re: Breakfast
I try to eat someting healthy that will fill me up so I don't snack right away. I have been having cereal (special k, or cheerios, or Life) with a banana and skim milk. ( I can only drink skim!) If I'm in a rush i will grab a yogurt and fruit. I like to make sure I eat a fruit and something with calcium in it.

I've been doing 1 boiled egg with whole grain toast and a glass of milk. It seems to hold me over.

Re: Breakfast
Lately my nausea has been really bad in the morning so I've been drinking Carnation Instant Breakfast to sort of "ease" my way in to solid foods.

Re: Breakfast
this is gross but I usually have a cheese sandwich and an apple (I crave cheese, lol) I use only fat free cheese or 2%
or
I'll eat 1 egg, 1 peice of buttered toast & an apple
or
plain yogurt w/cereal (usually high fiber cerea)
or
plain oatmeal mixed w/apple sauce or a mashed banana

Re: Breakfast
Usually a granola bar, and then cheese as a snack mid morning at work. I love cheese! I buy the Kraft snackables precut pieces, and the protein really helps.
