DH's Snoring....
Don't get my wrong, I love my DH to pieces, but sometimes at night I just want to and ! He falls asleep before his head even hits the pillow and of course it takes me a really long time to fall asleep, which is made more difficult by the fact that my poor husband snores so much! And yes, I do use earplugs but even they don't work all the time.
It's really not his fault - he broke his nose and it hasn't been fixed yet - but I find myself getting so angry at him. Last night it was 4AM and I still hadn't fallen asleep so I woke him up and the poor guy slept on the couch. I feel bad but I'm so miserable if I can't sleep.
Is anyone else in the same boat?

Re: DH's Snoring....
Dave tends to snore until i touch him....so, if i wasn't falling asleep first lately, i'd put my arm on his chest or something - that tends to work...
Also - as soon as he rolls onto his side (about 30 minutes into his sleeping) - it tends to stop...
Breathe Right Strips maybe????

Thats the only thing we haven't tried.
He used to only snore on his back so I'd just tell him to roll over but lately he's been snoring no matter what way he's lying.
I think I"m just more sensitive about it now that I'm expecting, too.

Oh DEFINITELY!!!! I am NOT looking forward to the days when i fall asleep last....sometimes it gets so annoying i literally PUSH him onto his side (he could sleep through anything)..
Can't hurt to try the strips..most drugstores carry them!
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Re: DH's Snoring....
hahah while I don't have a snorer I have a "head hitting the pillow sleeper" LOL I swear!...I can be talking..complaining about haivng to pee...anything but the second his adorable head hits that pillow hes out cold! I tease him that thank God we have a scheduled c-section bc I would NEVER be able to wake him up in the middle of the nite!....One nite I got locked out while letting our puppy out and had to ring the bell about 6 times at 1 am to get him to wake up.....it bothers me becuse I cannot sleep so if he plans on staying up with me when I'm sick he sits up in his recliner LOL....its soo funny

Yep!! Dh snores and no broken nose!! and if hes not snoring hes breathing loud!! I used to use ear plugs but after having DD I gave them up to make sure I hear her. There are nights I feel like I get 10 mins a sleep total..

Yup. And we've gotten into fights about it. I have to push him on his side for him to stop.

Re: DH's Snoring....
What I want to know is why men are always the ones who fall asleep when their heads hit the pillow.
That's what I want for Christmas!
