The nose strips work pretty well. Does your Dh have sleep apnea??

That's what I was going to ask... Get the strips for now, but have him get checked out.

I just throw my hair in his face & he turns over. My kids have learned if they push hard enough on him, he immediately turns to the other side giving you a short enough reprieve to go back to sleep.

Re: can anyone recommend something for snoring?
I make DH turn over - if he is on his back, sometimes he wakes me up with the snoring. If he is on his side or stomach, he doesn't really snore.

Re: can anyone recommend something for snoring?
the best $100 I ever spent was on a white noise machine from Sharper Image. it is the only way I can sleep with hubby's snoring. We tried the Breathe Right Strips and he snored right through them .

My husband uses breath right...but I also rely on that same white noise machine...actually, ours "white noise" is some air purifier from Oreck...I need both of the to fall asleep.

Re: can anyone recommend something for snoring?
A left hook!! My DH snores sooo freakin loud. I swear I think the landlord upstairs can hear him. I smack his head when he snores too loud, not hard, but hard enough to wake him, to which he says sorry, I was doing it again!! I feel your pain!

This was true for us too so I made DH go see the ENT DR who sent him for a sleep study. He has severe sleep apnea. He now has a C-PAP machine that he sleeps with every night and I can sleep in peace & quit and he can sleep on his back. AHHHHHHHHHHHH

An elbow into my DH's ribs and telling him to roll onto his side seems to work for me.

Re: can anyone recommend something for snoring?
OMG! I need to try something.!I think I'm going to get my DH those breathe strips to try out. It takes me forever to fall asleep cuz he snores sooo loud. I keep teling him to turn over, but before you know it he's back in the same position again. I think I'm also going to make him an appt. for an ENT as well.

I'm actually the one who snores sometimes (especially when my allergies act up) The nose strips seem to work really well.
