ladies with wavy hair....

i have wavy hair.... they type of hair where if i take a shower & let it air dry, it gets frizzy and looks blahhh

my problem is that i NEVER get up early enough to blow dry and straighten my hair in the morning... i'm looking for a product that i can just work through my wet hair in the morning and go... something that wont make my hair frizzy when it air dries

anyone have any suggestions??

TIA!!

I like Frizz-Eaze Dream Curls. It's a spray, but I never leave the house with a sopping wet head. I usually hit it with a dryer and diffuser for about 5 minutes.

I have the same type of hair. I just get up early and do it. My hair is important to me.

Maybe you should look into something like JHS then you can shower and go.

yeah i've thought about that... not feasable right now considering the $$ aspect of it and i think that i would get sick of always having straight hair... i love the fact that i can choose to have it wavy if i wanted to - i just want an easy answer for this that wont take a long time in the morning lol

I hear ya... that's why most of the time, i wash my hair at night throw it up and then "do it" in the morning (it's usually still damp when I wake up).

I wash my hair at night and apply some gel. In the morning I just shake my hair out a bit, add some defrizz serum, and I'm good to go.

Occassionally it will look really weird -- like if I slept in a funny position -- so I'll add a few hot rollers to get the kinks out.

Thats exactly the type of hair I have. Having a wild 15 month old I don't have time to do anything with it. I wash my hair 1-2 a week(otherwise it will get very dry) I try to wash before bed . Once I wash my hair I wrap a towel around my head , leave for 2-3 minutes or so, take it off and that's it(Do not rub it, doing so will make hair frizzy) Then I spray heat protector spray in my hair (even if I am NOT going to heat style it.) I looove Silk elements spray. and comb my hair with a wide tooth comb. and go to sleep, next morning my hair looks nice and wavy , not frizzy. All I do in the morning is take little bit of Frizz ease Secret Weapon® Flawless Finishing Creme and run it through my hair.

My hairdresser told me about the heat protector spray trick and it really works for me so well.
I hope this helps.

I just did the JHS and it cost me 150.00. Love it. Just wash and go. And it lasts for six months.

Re: ladies with wavy hair....

I haven't tried it yet but it's exactly the product you're looking for. When he demo's it on QVC he just kept stressing that it was for air-drying your hair:

I've used the cleansing conditioners with great success (except Lavender, that weighed my hair down and was greeeeeeeasy). Sweet Almond Mint was the best conditioner.

Worth a shot - QVC has a great return policy.
