I felt that way at one point.
At first, I wanted a summer baby - but then as months and a year and more went by, I realized that all I want is a healthy baby... no matter what the month!
ITA!!! i dont care if its born on christmas day!

I do not want a winter baby (December - February)
neither did I... I'm being induced February 1st!
I really wanted a summer baby, but after it being so difficult to conceive and needing help to get pregnant, that went out the window and I didn't care when.
I understand that. I just know that my birthday is February 4th and growing up, I ALWAYS wanted an outside / pool party
I will feel blessed and be thankful for the baby no matter when they are born but I do have my preference
I wasn't intending to say anything towards you about that. It was just a general statement. I REALLY did not want a winter baby - for a variety of reasons, just saying that the best laid plans don't always work out, and I actually find it rather funny/ironic for me that I'm going to have a February (or possibly a January) baby!

I always thought I didn't want Sept-Dec because of school cutoffs, but it doesn't matter. If I have an Oct baby I would be home on maternity leave through Christmas, so that would be nice, but again, it doesn't matter.

Re: Does it matter to you what month your child is born in?
When we first started TTC, I did not want a winter baby. Now, after dealing with IF, it does not matter what month or day the baby is born - I just want a baby!!!

Re: Does it matter to you what month your child is born in?
I thought I was in the clear fro a xmas time birthday and then my fluid levels were too low and I was sent in to start the induction new years day. My ds's birthday is Jan 2. Oh well what can you do. With all my issues I was so happy he came out healthy that I didn't care the day. As for winter babies. I loved having a winter baby. We would like to plan for another but things never go according to plan so we shall see.
