DH and i all intentios of going to the bahamas for our 1st anniversary in june.. but by then ill be about 8 months along and we're really trying to buy a house and the house is much more important so were skipping the babymoon/anniversary trip till our 2nd anniversary.
i dont regret our decision at all since DH and i just flew to my brothers in NC for my neices christening an di was throwing up the whole flight and well after we landed!

sort of, we took a trip to Punta Cana right after we were told we had to do IVF in order to get pregnant. The stress of it all and our anniversary right around the corner made the idea a no brainer! It was the best decision for us. It gave us time to allow it all to sink in, accept it and we were ready to move on when we got home! We had a great time!

DH & I went to the Bahamas, but it was also our 1st Anniversary trip. I was about 24 weeks. Money was tight, but I insisted that we go since after the baby, we wont be going on any big trips for a while.

We did and if you can swing it, do it! It was soooo much fun. It was honestly one of the best vacations we've had and I think it was because our bodies knew to just relax since that was it for what, 20+ years or so? 
We went to a great place in Punta Cana - FM if you'd like info.

We are going to Vegas with my family over christmas break.. I wanted to go somewhere exotic and warm, but we have no money to spend on it.. so this will be it for us. And, no anniversary trip this year.. our little nugget will be 3 months old... who would want to leave a 3 month old?

No, we were going to but then the market tanked. We thought it best to save the money and just pent the weekend doing things together. No phones/blackberrys etc. It was great.

we are trying our hardest to make it down to florida before the boys come.. We plan on moving there a few months after they are born and need to find a house ASAP. So we plan on making it a babymoon/house hunt. Thats hoping I can survive the drive bc flying is out of the question....

we did-- I didn't want to fly anywhere because flights at the time when we would have booked were insanely expensive, and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of flying. We did a lot of traveling in the last 2 years to prepare for not traveling for a while-- so, it's not like we never got to go anywhere.
So, we stayed at a luxury B&B about 1.5 hours from us. We had an amazing room, which was like a mini apartment and we just hung out. We had such a nice time-- and it was different than any other trip we have taken-- where we are usually go go going all the time doing stuff.
I recommend it just to spend some nice, quality quiet time with your DH... it was really nice.

My DH and I went to Atlantis for our 2nd anniversary this past July. We knew it would be our last "big" trip before we started TTC and get preggo!
We had an AMAZING time!!!!
If you have an appetite it is the best place for a pregnant woman!!! Make sure you go to The Cove's Mosaic for their breakfast every am!!!
soooooo good!!!!
We stayed at the Reef and it was gorgeous!!!
We said we are going back in a few years (once we can save money for it again bc it is sooooo insanely expensive!!!!!

the only "babymoon" we took was when we got pregnant! we went to disney to get pregnant and it was a success!
