Very Emotional Today
I am very emotional today. I miss my family in NY and my best friend (05mommy09), today is the first time it has hit me that I am completley alone here in VA for this pregnancy, except for my DH and two amazing dogs. I have no job right now and you ladies and this site are strangley keeping me sane.
I really can't wait to come home for Christmas. This is so hard.

Hi Kristin,
I know that pre-pg the holidays can make me emotional so I'm sure the hormones aren't helping! Try to hang in there...it's only a few days until Christmas! I agree about this site and these wonderful ladies, I don't know what I would do without you all!

Thank you. I know for some reason I have always been sad at Christmas, but now with all of these hormones Im extra sad. I can't wait to see my mom and dad! Thank you again!

this may be totally off base - but could you be suffering from seasonal depression???
a former close friend of mine used to have that issue. It has a LOT to do with the sun going down so early in the day now, etc. She actually went through something called, 'light' therapy...worked WONDERS for her!

So sorry you're feeling down....I know how you feel! My parents just moved to NC, my sister (who's also my best friend in the whole world), and my brother are all there too! I have cousins and friends here BUT its totally not the same as having your family there! I'm also looking foward to this X-Mas to be with them!

Hope you are feeling better today ....
Come home early- fly down this week/end and stay through Xmas and then go home with DH.
You are more then welcome to stay by me...

Just think you'll be back in NY before you know it!
