Another name SPINOFF... using a X's name.....

I love the name Kristin. It's my husband last girlfriend before he dated myself name... I could care less and since my MIL seems to love the girl so much..... we think it would be funny...

I also like Michelle and my husband also dated a girl name Michelle (who actually was Kristin's best friend but he dated her years before... so naturally kristin had it coming..lol)and I like that name as well. I like Michelle (the X... I'm talking like 10th grade GF) she is my friend now.

So I joke we'll name our daughter "Kristin Michelle" or my backup "Brooke Ann"

But my MIL would flip her wig and probably be all type of gossiping if we named her Granddaughter "Kristin Michelle"...lol... Kind of makes it really worth it in both of our eyes.

Now on the flipside... The names Ryan, Dave, Tom... etc are all out for our future son's because Dh hates every guy I ever dated even though he never met any of them..

Of our exes, one is off limits for BOTH of us because we actually both knew this person. As for DH's exes, the only name I liked was Dominique, and I could do that one as a relatives name, too, but I don't think he'd go for it.

I love the name Ryan... but its an ex of mine who is friends with my friends husband and I see from time to time. He's the type of guy who would think I was still stuck on him if I named my child that even though we only dated for a few months like a million years ago...so I'm resigned to using it as a middle name if I ever have a boy. Knew I shouldn't have dated him...

I like the name Sara...but of course it is my DH's ex's name...so no it will not be used.

luckly, DH's ex's name is very cultural (she was jewish), so it would be weird to use since we're both catholic.
if we liked a name for a boy that was an Ex of mine, i dont think DH would care, but theyre jsut not names on our list.

If we have a boy, DH would like to name him Robert after his grandfather but the baby's first and last name would be the same as one of my ex's. It was a really short lived romance 18 years ago and he loves the guy, but he still can't do it.

I SWORE I'd never date a guy with the same name as any of my ex's (Mark, Bobby, Michael, Frank, Rich) and ended up marrying a Rich!!!

Names of our ex's that we hate are out of the ordinary (his ex was a Michal) so we'd never even consider it.

I liked the name Thomas (Tom), but dated 2 of them. I couldn't name my son Thomas because both of their self-inflated egos would lead them to think he was named after them.

As for DH's ex...maybe if he dated someone with a name I liked, I'd consider it.

Naming our kid after one of my ex's would end up in my son being named Rafael, Angel, Noel (although I like for a girl) or Daniel.....no way.

And since I loathe every one of DH ex's I could never name my daughter Susan, Cari, Carolyn or Francesca, not that I like those names anyway
