Re: Hot chocolate?
I think the amount of caffeine in hot chocolate compared to coffee. For instance, 5oz of coffee has 115mg of caffeine while 5oz of hot choc has 4mg of caffeine.

Re: Hot chocolate?
I drank a 99.9% caffeine free brand of cocoa during my pregnancy.... I think it was made by Swiss Miss.

I'm not in NY, so I can't give you any store recommendations, but...there is a brand of hot cocoa called Goodnight Hugs that's white chocolate. I know it has no caffeine because we just recently had a box in the house (all gone now ). See if you can find it, it's in a dark brown and purple box.
Hershey makes it, very easy to find in the grocery store!
Thanks...I couldn't remember who made it!

Re: Hot chocolate?
My doctor told me that i can have 2 small servings of caffeinated beverages a day. I have been suffering from severe headaches, so I have 1-2 cups of iced tea a day and it helps. He told me that this is perfectly fine.

Re: Hot chocolate?
Crashing here, but here's a link to Hershey's 99% caffeine free hot chocolate mix. As a fellow cocoa lover, I felt the crashing on the PG board would be excused.

Re: Hot chocolate?
I would not have made it through my first trimester without chocolate milk. That and ginger ale were the only things that settled my stomach. I haven't had coffee or anything, but the amount of caffeine in chocolate milk/hot chocolate is sooo minimal.
