Back from my amnio
It wasn't NEARLY as bad as I thought it would be!
I closed my eyes, held DH's hand, the Dr. told me when I'd feel the cramping sensation, and it was over in about 20 seconds and wasn't bad at all.
At first look, he said the amniotic fluid looked cloudy and that's usually a good sign that the lungs are fully matured. We will have the results in about 2-3 hours, so I'll update as soon as we get them.

Well, I can honestly tell you that the anticipation was about 1000 times worse than the actual procedure. I am a baby when it comes to needles, and I barely felt it. The only time I felt it was when he started to draw out the fluid, there was a very slight cramping sensation, but that was it! It wasn't bad at all, I promise!

ugh!!! I know the anitcipation is killing you, I'm positive its all good though! Just think that your little  will be soon!!
