The 1 hr?
You aren't supposed to.
But, I ate a piece of toast (whole wheat) about 2 hours before and I failed, so my advice would be schedule the test for the am and don't eat breakfast.
I had to fast from midnight on for the 3 hr

When I went for my blood work up the nurse told me that when I had to go for my test that I should fast even though they tell you not to. She said you are more likely to pass it if you don't have any sugar in your system before they give you more.

I only barely failed too, but my OB was strict, so she made me take the 3 hour

I was told no food after midnight. My test was scheduled for first thing in the morning, so it wasn't so bad.

Me too. Fasting will make it easier to fail.
