Did you have to fast for your glucose test?
My doctor said I shouldn't fast, but everyone looks at me like I have 12 heads when I say that. Did you have to fast for your one hour and/or 3 hour?

My Dr. didn't tell me to fast before the 1 hour. My appointment was for 1:00pm so she said not to eat for atleast and hour before the test. So I got up that morning, had breakfast and then didn't eat again until after the test. I passed without a problem.

Not for the 1 hour...but yes, for the 3 hour. I made both appointments early in the morning at about 8-9, so I wouldn't have to worry about not eating all day.

My appointment is for 12:30 - I just had egg whites, with cheese on a roll...I guess that's it until after the test. I'm already hungry again

I did fast for the one hour.
but i was told to at LEAST not eat for one hour b/f the one hour but was told it could corrupt the results.

I passed no problem

I had an appointment at 9:00 a.m. so that way I would sleep without worrying about it. If I remember correctly, I couldn't eat after 10 pm the night before - it heps for cleare first time results.
