Where to get an HSG in Islip/Babylon
Hi everyone...I'm so sorry to crash, but I have a question for my brother's friend. She's not currently ttc, but she's having lots of health problems. Her GYN has told her to have an HSG done asap & recommended Zwanger in W.Islip, but she really doesn't want to go there due to probs with them in the past. Her doc didn't recommend anywhere else, but told her that she could go "wherever"...the problem is that she doesn't know where to go. If you've had an HSG somewhere near the Islip/Babylon area & if you could please recommend where you had it done we would all be truly, truly grateful. Thank you so, so much

She should check with her insurance company on who they recommend. I had to go to BAB Radiology b/c that's who my insurance paid for.

I went to Good Samaritan to their radiology dept, which I think is the place you are trying to have them avoid. They sort of screwed up on my HSG, didn't know where anything was and I'm waiting exposed to the world for like 20-30 minutes for them to figure out where the supplies were. Not to mention they could not get the catheter in but that is another story.
My first HSG I went to the radiology group at St. Kathrine of Sienna in Smithtown. I should have gone back. They had no problems but they did find a blocked tube. Though they probably opened it when they did the procedure (b/c I got an BFP right 3 weeks later from that side, I did m/c but that is better than any of my doctors have been able to do). This one had no problems doing the entire procedure and I guess looking back I should have gone back to them.

I went to Zilka radiology across the street from Good Sam.
They were great, my old RE office said that they recommend them exclusively now (if your insurance covers them).
very warm office staff.

This is where I went also. I had a very good experience there.
I also went there and had a great experience.

I went to Medical Arts Radiology in Bayshore - They were very nice there - No issues with them at all.
