Those that are due Christma week......
Are you putting up a tree?
We were going to get a real one this year. My due date is 1/2 but now I am home on bed rest until further notice (hopefully just one more week)
Not sure if we should or not since I can't really DO much

Go for it. There's still like 6 weeks till christmas so you have plenty of time to get one and still decorate. And if it turns out you can't help out then you can just have fun watching DH decorate and you can supervise.  And then even if you end up delivering that week, you'll have a couple of weeks to have it up and take pictures and stuff. You and your belly in front of the tree with DH.

I am due 2 weeks before xmas apx, I don't plan to put up a tree. It's just too much to deal with, and as much as I feel bad that it's baby's first xmas, we will have so much to adjust to that I don't see us needing the xtra hassle of dealing with a tree and decorations, etc.

Im now due on dec 28th, if i dont get induced earlier (which my dr seemed to feel like i may when i saw him yesterday) We will DEFINATELY be getting a tree...we always get a real one..my dh said theyre already starting to put up the lots on montauk hywy this morning..so excited!! I figure, we'll put it up the weekend after thanksgiving, and my dh and ds will take it down and put everything away for me after "little christmas"...

We are because we want to take a picture in front of it. My friends are coming for Thanksgiving and I am hoping they can help us decorate it and my friend's DH can help mine get the tree.

Absolutely! I am a huge Christmas freak , I love the lights and decorations, I couldn't imagine NOT putting a tree up. We may skip the exterior lights because DH has to do that and he still has a ton of things that have to be done in the house before the baby gets here ...so that will be "if time permits' kind of thing.

I had DS on 12/20 .. I was adamant about putting up a tree. I kept bugging DH to get it up and made him promise that he would put it up while I was in the hospital if I went early. I didn’t want to feel like we weren’t having Christmas, especially considering we didn’t know if we would be able to go and celebrate. It was great we took pics of DS under the Christmas tree with a bunch of presents it was great!
So I say get a tree!!!!
We scaled back on o ur overall decorating of the house, but we still did a little of everything!

I am due on Christmas Eve and we are putting up a tree! We’re going to do it right after Thanksgiving. Usually we don’t do it that early, but I cannot guarantee how I am going feel once December gets here. Plus, if I have her early, we will have great pictures by the tree!

YES!! We cannot wait to do this!! We had an artificial one last year and will be putting up this one again!! Hopefully, it will be done during Thanksgiving weekend!!

definitly on the tree!, due dec 30th, i would hate for the baby to be born b4 xmas and come home and not have a tree for him!
besides xmas decorations are the BEST! I hope to do it thanksgiving weekend!
