myrtle beach
i booked Myrtle beach late June for a family vacation.. can anyone tell my anything about it? how are the beaches , what to do ? kid friendly?? tia

The beaches are gorgeous--when you go, it will be awesome--not too humid yet! There is Broadway By the Beach which has lots os shopping, restaurants, mini golf, etc..
There are TONS of Mini Golf places there and there is also the brand new hard rock amusement park
have a GREAT TIME@!!

Sorry to crash but we are going in April. We will be there for Easter. Im looking for suggestions for a nice Easter dinner (3 kids of course so it can't be super super fancy)

FYI ... The Hard Rock amusement park filed for bankruptcy already and I believe has shut down after not finding any buyers.

There's a lot for kids to do.
Yep - the Hard Rock park closed. I can say I was one of the few who got to go and wasn't impressed (DH and I paid $110 to walk in between admission and parking and 2 of the 4 big rides weren't working).
There are a number of great restaurants down there - my favorites are Villa Romana (Italian), Drunken Jacks and Hot Fish Club (they are both in Murrells Inlet.

recommend the Italian resturant...it was so good.
