How many colds has your baby had?

OK...Sidney just woke up with another cold...and me too!!!! She is 7 months old. She got her 1st cold at 4 months and has now had a total of 4. That's basically 1 per month. And of course I get the cold also....or I give it to her - who knows. What in the world am I doing wrong????????
I go to work 2 days a week and my family watches her...no other kids around. When we go to her music class I am the only mom who wipes down the toys before she puts them in her mouth. I wash my hands so much they bleed. Maybe I don't wash HER hands enough.

She got sooo thrown off her sleep schedule by the last cold and we are still not back on track yet here we go again with another cold.

Is this normal or are we just prone to coodies?
(P.S. before she was born I hardly ever got sick.)

I have been lucky - Kevin had only one cold when he was about 9-10 months old. He had one bad viral infection (which I had first) at 11 months.

Jack has had one cold/sinus infection and he will be 9 months tomorrow. I disinfect his toys and mutual toys but not to an extreme at all I guess we are one of those families that believe a little dirt is good for you and in the long run breed health.

Andrew has had 2 colds so far - one after Christmas when he was 8 months old, and then another one this past October/November when he was 18 months old.

Gabriella didn't get her first real cold until she was 15 months. She did occasionally get congested when she got her teeth.

Gianni has had about 4-6 colds, his first being at 2 weeks old. I'm BFing him, too, but now I have a older sibling who seems to get it from who knows where.

I use a lot of alcohol based sanitizer (instead of washing my hands all the time.)

You aren't doing anything wrong. Some kids just get more than others.

Julia has had none so far, (ThankGod). I BF her so I feel that has a lot to do with it too.

We just got over the flu that's it and that was enough. No colds so far thank goodness.

My friends baby has had 6 so far at 9 months and he is breastfed and still is and she disifencts his toys like mad- I guess there is no rhyme or reason to it.

1 cold (that lasted like 2.5 weeks) so far... He's 4.5 months!

Emily is almost constantly stuffed up and sneezes and coughs all the time, but never runs fevers with them, so I don't know if it is colds or if it's just symptoms of her teething.

Frankie just got his 1st this morning and he turns 3 months on Thrusday. I am breastfeeding, but yet he still got a cold.

Just a few. One fever in 22 months of her life and 2 ear infections (from flying). After that common colds from her teething. I breastfed for 16 months. I don't think it really matters, they still will get colds BF or not. It happens.
