I'm out
and I'm soooooooo depressed. I knew there was no way that I would be longer than 28-30 days. I am gonna call my obgyn to let him know how short my luteal phase was.

Yep. I got my first smiley on CD19, my second one on CD20, then nothing on CD21... and today is CD28.

Okay.
7-8 days is definitely too short for an LP. Speak to you doctor and keep us updated! 
It might be as simple as needing progesterone... hopefully you'll get this figured out ASAP.
