Can we use Salicylic Acid for acne (3rd trimester)?
I have one pimple I would like to dab some salicylic acid on. Does anyone know if we can use this, esp in 3rd trimester?

this is one of those things where it ENTIRELY depends on who you ask....
i have read both things that say it's good and things that say it's bad....
unfortunately, i think it falls under the 'call the doc' answer....

I was using Neutrogena Acne Wash that contained 2% salidic acid...At my 28 week OB appoinment I bought the bottle to the Dr. and he said it was fine...I would imagine it depends on the % of salidic acid

I used the same Neutrogena wash throughout my pregnancy and the OB said it was fine.
