furniture?

Do you have to order furniture for the nursery? Does some stores have it in stock? If I need to order, how long will it take to get in?

I just asked BRU about this yesterday. some of their furniture is in stock in their warehouse and then takes 5-7 days, some is not and COULD take up to 12 weeks. hope this helps.

Re: furniture?

The length of time it takes to get in depends on the manufacturer. Buy Buy Baby didn't have the set we selected in stock, it's 8-14 weeks for them to get it in and then I have to schedule delivery, so that might add a week or 2 to the timeline.

12 weeks if you want to change something or if the warehouse does not have it. We went yesterday to get a glider and I wanted the padding changed to a different color and they told me 16 weeks! Chat Icon I was like I am due in 12 weeks, can we work something out here? They said that is how long it takes. Chat Icon

Re: furniture?

We found that most had to be ordered and if it did it was at least 12 weeks, sometimes 14 or 16.

I'm sure they have a stock of it.

We ordered from Behrs. It was supposed to be delivered the first week in Oct for an Oct 29th due date. The day I got home from giving birth to Joseph (Sept 19th), I received a notice saying that the furniture would be delayed for three more weeks. I called them & said that I got their letter indicating the delay but the baby was here and I needed it as soon as possible. They were able to get me the furniture by Sept. 25th!

Re: furniture?

We ordered our nursery furniture from Bellini - and they suggested we order 3 months in advance.
