Conflicted about switching to Dr Goldshlag
He has appointments on Monday, Tuesday, Wed and his hours are only during the day no late appointments or even appts after 1P
I would have to miss work everytime I had an appointment which I really don't know what to do.
I hate this

Re: Conflicted about switching to Dr Goldshlag
you will probably have one consult and then if you go ahead with IVF you wil be monitored early in the am. even blood tests can be early am. The GC office does monitoring.

Re: Conflicted about switching to Dr Goldshlag
I always had this deliemia... Notice i said HAD. now im at the point i dont care about work and taking time off because wanting a baby is so much more important than work... you dont need to explain urself to anyone at work. if they give you a hard time u can just say its medically associated, I had a boss who tried every which way to get it out of me what i was doing until i told him that its personal buisness and i did not appreciate him or other staff asking about my medical issues. No one ever asked me again...

Re: Conflicted about switching to Dr Goldshlag
Will Dr. Goldschlag see you on LI in GC? That would at least make it easier. But, seriously, a day or 2 from work to get what you need is nothing in the big picture. Call up, make that appointment and don't look back or try to stress yourself out with the juggling of work etc... In reality, you want kids and trust me you will be forced to take days off work. So, just get into the habit of doing this now. Hopefully you work for a good company and your boss is not a jerk. Can't you make up hours later in the day etc...
And like PP said, you only see your RE for the consult and then maybe you need to go in for the IVF class and that is really it. Everything else would be morning monitoring. In the city it is 7-8:30am and in GC its 8-9am. I live all the way near Westhampton Beach and I was able to monitor with no problem.
You can do it. Maybe you just need a little more time before you start again. I know the idea that this could happen all over again is kinda scary. But, at least at Cornell you will get the right answers. And hopefully good answers.
Did you make the appointment yet?
