What now...why am I having brown spotting
while taking birth control?  I am starting Lupron on Monday, I'm on week 2 of the bc. What gives....

I have been told that sometimes you can experience breakthrough bleeding on the pill. I haven't, but I remember the nurse telling me this. I would call them on Monday if it becomes a heavier bleed.

I have always, always had brown spotting while taking BCP.
I had it up until three days before I stopped the pill this past time.

In the paperwork i was given today about IVF, they said it is normal for this to happen.

Totally normal. I spotted after stopping BCP and it continued for a few days while I was stimming. Once your estrogen levels start to rise it stops.
