I went to my OB/GYN yesterday...
First of all, let me say, it's a little tough sitting in the waiting room with a several PG ladies who all had their sonogram pics in hand.
Anyway, since it took me 9 months to conceive DD, my doctor said he doesn't want to wait that long again, so I have to go back in 4 months if I'm not PG. I'm soooo happy I won't have to wait so long this time to see if there is something going on!

I know that feeling all too well... 
Anyways, I think that it's great that your doc is being proactive & telling you to come back after 4 months! I'm praying that when you do go back to see him that you'll already be pg!!  Good luck!!

I have to go in for a consult/yearly next month and I am not looking forward to it

I don't think anyone ever looks forward to it!! I wasn't looking forward to it, and as all the PG moms came out of the sono room it got even worse. But I did feel a whole lot better after speaking to my doc.

That has to be hard!!!! When we leave the RE with photos - i always have Dave put them in his newspaper or shove them in the notebook we bring...i don't want to make people feel weird...
you're going to get through this hon!!!!!
